Walk Like A MAN!

Don’t worry…this episode is not about making fun of the way people walk.  In fact it’s not about the mechanics of walking at all, rather it is about the energy we walk with.  It’s about doing everything including walking with mindfulness…being mindful of your purpose, your destination, walking like you have somewhere to go.

Acting as though you have purpose and intention will give you purpose.  Try it out, next time you walk imagine that you are walking to an important destination.  This simple thing is also a confidence building exercise. 

The truth of it is this…whenever you are walking you ARE walking toward an important destination…because your future hasn’t happened yet, whenever you are walking, you are walking directly into your future.  I’d say that is an important destination wouldn’t you?

    Walking with a purpose is one of the first things they teach you as a Corrections officer. Wandering about is a definite sign of weakness. Another great Podcast Alf!!
